On Saturday some uninsured children in Reading had the chance to get their teeth cleaned.

St. Joseph Regional Health Network held a free clinic at its downtown campus in Reading.

It's the 14th year for the "Give Kids a Smile" free clinics.

Officials said the clinics are a chance to help children who have no where to go for dental care the opportunity to get a healthy smile.

"We provide as much service to them as we can, and we try to get all the service done in one visit and if we don't, we bring them back the following Saturday we have the next clinic and try to get it all done," said Dr. Chris Kosenske.

The clinics will be offered once each month through June.

To get an appointment, a child must have a referral from a school hygienist or pediatrician.
