Interstate 176 North has reopened following a tractor trailer accident that closed the highway during the morning rush hour.

The truck went off the highway and down an embankment off the northbound lanes near Route 724 shortly after 6 a.m. Friday, police said.

No one was injured in the accident.

I-176 North was closed at Route 724 for about four hours, forcing rush hour drivers to find another route to where they were going.
