RUSCOMBMANOR TWP., Pa. -

Police in Delaware have apprehended a man accused of robbing a bank in Berks County earlier this week.

Kenneth Reber was taken into custody in the town of Millsboro on charges of robbery and aggravated assault, police said.

State police initially identified Reber, 42, of Alsace Township, as a "person of interest" in the robbery of the Vist Financial Bank at Pricetown and Blandon roads (Routes 12 and 73) in Ruscombmanor Township on Wednesday. Further investigation led police to identify him as the suspect in the holdup.

Reber, police said, pointed a handgun at tellers as he demanded they put money into a bag he carried. "Move quicker," he yelled, as he counted backwards from five, according to court documents. Reber made off with more than $8,000, according to court documents.

Reber is now awaiting extradition from Delaware to Berks County.
