Man sought in theft of cell phone left at Walmart in Temple
Man made no attempt to return phone to its owner, police say
The saying goes, 'One man's loss is another man's treasure."
A man who found a cell phone left behind inside the Walmart store in Muhlenberg Twp., Berks Co., earlier this month has apparently made it his own, police said.
The man found a Samsung Galaxy cell phone at register #20 shortly before 10 a.m. on Sat., March 9, said police, adding that the man placed the phone in his shopping bag and made no attempts to return it to the owner.
The man left the store and got into a small dark-colored pickup truck with a tool box on the back, police said. He was last seen traveling north on the Allentown Pike.
Anyone who can identifying the man seen in the surveillance picture is asked to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
