AMITY TWP., Pa. -

The possibility of deep budget cuts led to a packed school board meeting in the Daniel Boone School District.

There was a long line just to get inside the middle school auditorium in Amity Township.

Teachers union officials and parents we spoke with say they're concerned about possible cuts including cuts to kindergarten.

"I just want to see what they can, how can they avert this? What actions are they taking so they're not cutting sports, so they're not cutting the music program," asked parent Gretchen Markel.

The president of the teachers union says the district is considering cutting 40 jobs.
