GREENWICH TWP., Pa. -

State police are investigating a shooting at a home Monday night in Greenwich Township. They said people were pounding on the door and the homeowner sent a shot through the wall of his house.

State police said this investigation is ongoing and by Tuesday no one had been arrested.

"At this point it's still an ongoing situation," said Trooper David Beohm, "What we know right now is that three people went to the residence there in Greenwich Township banging on the door."

Pennsylvania state police said they went to a home on Douglass Road just before 11 o'clock Monday night. They said the ex-boyfriend of the homeowner's daughter and two other people were outside and frightened the people inside.

"Homeowner felt threatened that they might kick the door in and fired a shot through the wall of the house which struck one of the three people outside," said Beohm, "That person was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries."

A neighbor said he didn't hear or see what happened. But added the homeowner is a military veteran who owns guns and if he wanted to kill someone the person would be dead.

The homeowner said he has a lawyer and will be speaking to the police Wednesday about this investigation.
