Cumru Township Police investigate burglaries
CUMRU TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

Police in Cumru Township are trying to track down the person who pulled off several smash-and-grab burglaries.

Officials say the burglar broke windows and stole things from four cars parked at Nolde Forest park yesterday afternoon.

In all four cases... officials say the thief pilfered a purse that was left inside the vehicle.

Police also say at least 6 vehicles were burglarized last week in the Thomas Garden Development.

They say electronic equipment, cash and a handgun were among the items stolen from the vehicles.

But police say there was no forced entry in last week's cases. They haven't said if they think all of the burglaries are connected.
