2 men escaped from Wernersville Correctional Center

SOUTH HEIDELBERG TWP., Pa. -

State police are looking for two men who escaped from the Wernersville Community Correction Center in Berks County early Tuesday.

One of the men, Jahkeem Dysler Abney, 22, left the facility without permission, police said.  He is described as a black man, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Abney's original charge was possession with intent to deliver.

Another man, Joshua Allen Baker, is also on the loose.

Baker, 27, failed to return to the correctional center after a work shift at IHOP in Spring Twp., Berks County around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Baker is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 195 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

His original charge was robbery.

Police said there are arrest warrants out for both men on escape charges.
