Reading Area Community College took a moment Monday to honor those from the Greater Reading area who've served our country.

The Veterans Day celebration at RACC was fitting because more than 120 of its students are active service members or veterans.

Speakers reminded those in attendance what military members do everyday. They also thanked veterans for their service.

"This is RACC's day to celebrate Veterans Day and coming together to thank all of the veterans who are in the community, not only at RACC but in the Reading area," said Robert Vaughn, vice president of workforce development.

The ceremony concluded with a wreath-laying and a moment of silence.
