BERN TWP., Pa. -

The Reading Fair is in full swing, and this year there's a little something new for thrill seekers.

The fair began Sunday at the Reading Fairgrounds in Bern Township.

As always, it features food, rides, games and music. This year, it's also offering helicopter rides.

"That's a private guy. He comes in with his helicopter and takes people for rides. He did a lot of rides yesterday, and he flies out over Blue Marsh Dam and around the Blue Marsh area," said Dave Zerbe.

The helicopter rides cost $40.

The 159th annual Reading Fair runs through Aug. 10.
