READING, Pa. -

Two unions representing Berks county employees have agreed to forego raises next year.

The county commissioners and unions signed contracts Thursday morning.  The deal makes a pay freeze official for members of the teamsters and PSSU unions.

Commissioners say they hope the other unions that represent county workers will follow suit.

Commissioners say the pay freeze will help offset expenses.
