A young boy who stabbed a fellow student multiple times last month won't be welcomed back to his school.
The Wilson School Board voted Monday night to expel the 14-year-old student from the Wilson Southern Middle School in Spring Twp., Berks Co., where he attended the 8th grade.
The board's disciplinary action came just less than a week after the boy admitted in juvenile court to an attempted homicide charge.
The boy admitted to stabbing a 14-year-old classmate three times with a pocket knife inside a crowded school hallway on Jan. 15. The stabbing was apparently the result of a heated conversation on Facebook, police said.
The boy will learn his fate at a disposition hearing on Feb. 12. He could be treated in the juvenile system for seven years.
