Dozens in western Berks County spent the night working out for a good cause.

They took part in a "zumba-thon" to help the family of a little girl who was killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

Participants donated $15 and took part in a raffle to raise money for the Charlotte Bacon Memorial Fund.

Charlotte was one of 20 children killed when a gunman opened fire in an elementary school in December.

Her father, Joel Bacon, graduated from Conrad Weiser High School.

Organizers said they were hoping to raise more than $1,000.
