Hundreds of students marched down the streets of Reading Saturday in an effort to stomp out violence.
It's the fourth time this event has been held.
Students and residents came together and walked from four middle schools to City Park at the annual Peace March.
The event was organized by Project Peace; the group is made up of more then 125 students.
During the rally at the park, Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer spoke, saying he's pleased to see the students taking a leadership role in the city's effort to stop violence.
State Senator Judy Schwenk also spoke the students.
