READING, Pa. -

A man appeared before a judge Monday in connection with the deadly shootings of two accused robbers outside a corner store in Reading.

Police said Alexander Garcia Bialek was supposed to be the getaway driver on Nov. 4 when two of his friends were shot by a private citizen.

Police said the men pointed a gun at the shooter after they robbed Krick's Korner store on North 9th Street.

The district attorney said the shooting was justified.

Bialek is due back in court in March.
