One lucky lottery player received the holiday gift of a lifetime -- a jackpot-winning ticket worth $3.4 million.

The ticket, sold at the Quick Mart convenience store, 850 Golden Dr., Blandon, matched all six winning numbers -- 03-14-15-19-26-34 -- in Thursday night's drawing to win the $3.4 million jackpot, less 25 percent federal withholding, lottery officials said Friday.

"That's great! I was so shocked," said store owner Maniss Patel, who's thrilled by the news.

Not only will Patel receive a $10,000 bonus, but, he hopes, more customers.

"They might play more and take a chance," said Patel.

Customers at the convenience store on Friday expressed their shock over the prize, which is the highest ever won at the Quick Mart.

"Interesting [that] they sold that big ticket!" said customer Robert Gill.

"Whoever it is, merry Christmas," said customer Shawn Heckart. "If you feel like getting rid of some of it, I can always take a little bit off your hands."

The jackpot had been growing since one ticket matched all six winning numbers in the record-breaking Oct. 3 drawing, which had a jackpot worth more than $7.3 million. Odds of winning the Match 6 jackpot are approximately one in 4.6 million.

The lottery encourages the still-unidentified holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin Co., or at any of lottery’s seven area offices.

More than 102,300 other Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 players also won prizes in the Dec. 26 drawing.

Nearly $62.7 million in prizes have been awarded to Berks County winners during the 2012-13 fiscal year, said lottery officials, adding that the lottery has also contributed more than $30.1 million to programs serving the county’s older residents.
