READING, Pa. -

A pair of Carpenter Technology employees were injured on the job Wednesday morning.

A 5-ton crane used for sorting incoming material collapsed shortly before 10 a.m. inside Building 48 on Carpenter's west shore in Reading, a company spokesman said.

Two employees were injured in the mishap. They were transported to a hospital, but officials had no information about the extent of their injuries.

An investigation of the collapse continues.
