GREENWICH TWP., Pa. -

A driver escaped uninjured after an ice-induced crash in Berks County.

Police report that 35-year-old Andrew Shirk walked away unharmed after he lost lost control of his 1993 Chevrolet Astro on an ice-covered roadway.

Shirk was travelling west on Circle Road in Greenwhich Twp., when his car glided across the lanes and struck the embankment on the south side of the road.

After impact, the car rolled onto its passenger side coming to rest facing north across both lanes.

Police say Shirk was wearing his seat and he will not be charged.

The incident occurred at about midnight, Saturday.
