READING, Pa. -

A former color guard instructor for the Reading High School marching band has admitted in court to her role in a student sex case.

Jennifer Wolfe pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child. She was subsequently sentenced to four years of probation.

Wolfe, then 30-years-old, sexually abused a 17-year-old student band member several times between October 2011 and April 2012, said authorities, who noted that the pair met when the boy was 16.

On one occasion, Wolfe gave the boy a drink of whiskey and Coke before engaging in sexual activity, according to detectives with the Berks County district attorney's office.

Wolfe, 32, of Marion Township, Berks County, had also been charged with institutional sexual assault and corruption of minors. Those two charges were dismissed, according to Wolfe's attorney.
