SPRING TWP., Pa. -

An investigation is underway after a fire at a commercial building in Berks County.

The blaze broke out just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Heartland Settlement Company Building at 55 Commerce Drive in Spring Township.

The fire marshal has not determined a cause but said the fire does appear suspicious. He also said a dumpster fire was reported just a few blocks away a short time earlier.

At this point, it's not clear if the fires are connected.

There were no injuries reported in either incident.
