BERNVILLE, Pa. -

A fire raged inside an apartment building in Berks County, destroying at least one of the units.

The fire started around 2 a.m. Sunday inside the building in the 400 block of Main Street in Bernville.

There are 11 apartments in the building, and all residents were able to make it out in time. Two of the units were affected by the fire and one of those was destroyed.

Crews have not been able to determine if the most severely damaged unit had smoke detectors.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire. It's still under investigation.

Nobody was hurt.
