Neighbors in Greenwich Township are outraged over a rash of thefts from vehicles this weekend.

Some have lost everything from a month's rent to memories that are impossible to replace.

William Pitts says the thieves stole his rent money, $500, from inside his truck.

"If you're going to be that poor, or that ignorant to do something like that, ask for help, don't just steal it," Pitts said.

The thieves have been targeting unlocked vehicles, investigators said.

Some neighbors, however, says slim jims were used on their cars to open doors that were locked.

Michael Austin, and his family were also victimized.

Austin had heard about the rash of thefts from cars in the area, and hoped that the vehicles in his driveway had been spared.

Sadly, that was not the case.

A $500 camera containing pictures of Austin's son's graduation, among other personal belongings, were stolen.

"Hopefully they catch 'em and we get our stuff back," Austin said.

During one of these crimes, the criminals may have used a white 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier, officials said.
