ALBANY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

Some students might look like they're horsing around, but it's serious business.

Horses were on hand for Penn State's large animal rescue course at the Kempton Fire Company Sunday.

The class focused on rescuing large animals -- like horses or cattle --  from very dangerous situations.

A trailer was pushed on its side to simulate an accident on a highway.

Mannequins of horses were used in some of the activities.

Students included first responders and farmers.
