Louis Wilbert Jones, of Reading, nabbed in armed robbery of Northwest Savings Bank in Lebanon
A Reading man has been arrested in the armed robbery of a bank in Lebanon, police said Monday.
Louis Wilbert Jones was armed with a gun when he handed a demand note to a teller inside the Northwest Savings Bank, 770 Cumberland St., at 12:58 p.m. last Friday, police said.
Jones got away with money that contained a dye pack, and as officers searched the area after the holdup, they observed Jones walking in the area of 7th and Walton streets with red dye on himself, police said.
Jones was arrested. Police have not recovered the gun.
