Daniel French admits role in shooting of woman near Route 222
Victim was left bleeding on side of busy highway
One of three men charged in connection with the shooting of a woman, who was found on a busy highway in Berks County, will be spending time behind bars.
Daniel French pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to commit homicide and possession of firearms without a license.
He was sentenced to 15 years and nine months to 40 years in prison.
French, Xavier Pagan and Giovanni Nieves were all charged for their alleged involvement in the shooting of Amber Putt.
Putt was shot several times and left bleeding on the side of Route 222 in Muhlenberg Township on July 9, 2012. She was able to flag down a driver for help.
Both Pagan and Nieves also pleaded guilty earlier this year and are serving time in state prison.
