A man is lucky to be alive following a horrifying wreck in Berks County Friday.
Kristian Castellano of New Tripoli doesn't know how he survived a crash on Route 222 near Kutztown Friday when his Audi became wedged underneath a tractor trailer.
It happened just before 3 p.m. when the entire highway was still covered with snow.
Castellano said, "I was freaking out so much thinking 'oh my God I'm going to die,' 'oh my god this and that.' It happened in very slow motion is the rails of the truck hit my hood. My head smashed against the ceiling."
Castellano walked away with a only a sore head.
Police say the big rig lost control after hitting a patch of slush and it veered into oncoming traffic.
