Mary Lou Petrucci, animal hoarder, sentenced to probation
An accused animal hoarder from Reading will be on probation for nearly eight years.
Mary Lou Petrucci was sentenced after she pleaded no contest to 10 counts of cruelty to animals. She got credit for 170 days of time served.
As part of the plea, prosecutors said Pertucci is not allowed to own or reside with animals.
Pertucci was also accused of false imprisonment for allegedly holding a man captive in her home on Mineral Spring Road. That charge was withdrawn as part of Tuesday's plea.
