A special memorial stone will be dedicated to soldiers buried in a cemetery in Alsace Township this weekend.
The ceremony is the culmination of years of work.
Organizers said 16 Revolutionary War veterans and six War of 1812 veterans are buried in the Zions Spies Church cemetery.
Boy Scouts and the county veterans association helped identify the soldiers because their graves don't have headstones.
"Of course, the ones in the upper cemetery, most of them have stones and markers, but down here, there were no markers remaining. That's why it was important to get the stone with their names on it," said Robert Troxel.
The ceremony will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at the cemetery.
