The driver charged in the death of an 84-year-old farmer is now facing a trial.
Pamela Routhier had all but one of the charges against her held for court during a preliminary hearing Wednesday. Prosecutors withdrew the charge of DUI - controlled substance - combination.
Routhier, of Temple, had a blood alcohol level of twice the legal limit when she struck Daniel Shirey on his farm on Route 662 in Amity Township in August, police said.
Shirey, who was working with his son to fix a fence at the time of the crash, died two days later.
