BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. -

Police in Berks County have determined a device thought to be suspicious was not an explosive.

Earlier Wednesday, police in Colebrookdale Township noticed a possible explosive device that had apparently been detonated in the area of Mill Street between Main and Route 100 in the Bechtelsville area.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were also called out.

The road was closed for a period of time.

It turns out the device was part of an HO train engine that possibly fell out of a vehicle and was run over.
