Authorities in Berks County say a motorcyclist survived a violent crash with a car Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Route 61 and Ashley Way in Ontelaunee Township.
Officials say the motorcycle collided with a car, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown 20 to 30 feet.
Amazingly, officials say the motorcyclist appeared to be conscious and alert immediately following the crash. There is no official word on his condition at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
