READING, Pa. -

In Reading.. it was a 100th birthday celebration!

Folks gathered Saturday at the Reading Area Community College campus to mark a century since the Penn Street Bridge was built.

The 1,336-foot bridge is actually a viaduct-- built to cross the Schuylkill River.

For four hours Saturday folks had the chance to enjoy music, historic presentations and hands-on activities, as well as celebrate the bridge's century in the community.
