Attention Jerry Seinfeld fans: The bad news is tickets for his upcoming appearance in Reading sold out within minutes of going on sale Friday morning; the good news is a second show has been added.
History repeated itself when the Santander Arena box office opened at 10 a.m. Seinfeld fans quickly snatched up tickets for the comic's 7 p.m. show at the Santander Performing Arts Center on Fri., Feb. 28.
Once all tickets were sold, promoters added a second appearance that night. Tickets for the newly added 9:30 p.m. show are now on sale at the box office and through all Ticketmaster outlets, including online and by phone at 800-745-3000.
Seinfeld has a history of selling out his shows in Reading. Most tickets for his 2010 appearance were gone within five minutes of going on sale, prompting Seinfeld to add a second appearance that year.
In 2004, Seinfeld's two scheduled shows sold out within a half-hour.
