State Police in Reading offer car-seat checks
State police offered a helping hand to parents this weekend.
Reading barracks officers did free car-seat checks all day Saturday.
Drivers lined up as troopers worked to make sure the seats are secured properly.
State police say most child seats are not installed the right way, and your child could be in danger.
Trooper David Beohm said, "You are carrying around your children in the car. The children are relying on you as the adult to make sure they are safe. So if you have any questions about if they are in correctly, you need to have them checked."
The car-seat check was part of child passenger safety week.
