A woman will serve a year's probation and pay restitution for phoning in a bomb threat to Reading High School.

That was a judge's sentence for Diamond Bowen after she pleaded guilty Wednesday to making terroristic threats.

Bowen was an RHS student when, police said, she used a payphone at North 10th and Robeson streets to call in the threat on May 21, prompting the evacuation of students to other schools until the high school could be searched. Nothing was found.

Bowen's sentence requires her to pay $470 to cover the cost of the Reading police bomb squad sweeping the school.
