Truck clips Center Township property
CENTRE TWP., Pa. -

A homeowner in Berks County is upset after a tractor trailer damaged his property for the third time in three weeks.

The latest incident happened around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday at 432 Bellemans Church Rd. in Centre Township.

The tractor trailer was traveling west on Bellemans Church Road and apparently couldn't negotiate the right curve turn and crashed into a concrete wall at Salvatore DeGenova's home, according to state police.

DeGenova said he is frustrated the accidents keep happening.

"And 90 percent of the time when these trucks hit, it's a hit and run! And I gotta chase these guys down at 2:00 in the morning to get them," said DeGenova, who is pleading for help from the township or PennDOT.

Signs posted along the road aren't enough, DeGenova said.

No one was injured in the latest crash.
