OCEAN CITY, MD. -

A shooting in Ocean City, Maryland has landed two men from Reading behind bars.

Police say 21-year-old Elvin Jovany Mendez-Espada and 19-year-old Carwin Duarte have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Officials say the two were in a fight with two others at a hotel pool when Mendez-Espada pulled out a gun and fired shots.

One man was hit. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Mendez-Espada now faces two counts of first degree assault. Duarte has been charged with assault.
