The driver of a van was lucky to escape injury after being pushed off the road by a tractor trailer.

The truck was unable to stop for traffic in the 1700 block of Van Reed Road in Spring Twp., Berks Co., around 1:05 p.m. Tuesday and veered into the oncoming lane, where it struck a van, police said.

The van rolled down an embankment, but the driver was not injured, police said.

A car was also involved in the accident, but no one else was injured.
