A woman was injured when her car spun out of control on a wet road in Berks County and rolled over, police said.

The accident happened shortly after 10 a.m. Friday on Route 662, also known as Old Swede Road, and Pine Forge Road.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was traveling too fast for the weather conditions when she lost control around a curve, said police, adding that she suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Fire police closed Route 662 at the intersections with Pine Forge and Blacksmith roads until crews could remove the wreckage.
