Police have charged a Reading man in connection with a vicious stabbing that happened at a popular bar in Reading.
Wednesday, police announced that they charged Luis Ramos, 29, in connection with the stabbing that left five people hospitalized.
One of the victims, who is also a mother, spoke exclusively with 69 News about the ordeal.
She says she was dancing with friends when the unthinkable happened.
"The guy pushed me," said the victim, who didn't want to reveal her identity for fear of retaliation. "I was like, excuse me, you don't have to push me, and that's when he stabbed me in my leg."
The victim adds that her sisters saw that she was being attacked and came to her aid.
"So my sisters were hitting him, jumped on top of him, and then he stabbed them four times," the victim said.
The supsect, Luis Ramos, was already in jail facing murder charges in connection with the killing of Raymond Miranda that happened just after Christmas in the 100 block of S. 4th Street, police said.
For the stabbing victim, she's just glad that Ramos is off the streets and behind bars.
"I feel more closure, because he's not out here. I do fear sometimes for my life," the victim said.
This victim says this crime has upset her so much that she will be moving out of the city.
Meanwhile, Ramos, in addition to facing first and third degree murder charges for the homicide in December, police say he's now facing attempted homicide charges for the bar stabbing.
A second suspect, Ramon Nazario, 22, was arrested in his home shortly after the club stabbing, and charged in connection with the crime, investigators said.
