Man accused of having child porn videos on cellphone
A man was arraigned Tuesday on charges he had pornographic videos of children, some as young as 5-years-old, on his cellphone, authorities said.
Berks County Detectives said they began their investigation of Brian Boyer last March when he was arrested for parole violations in an unrelated case. The detectives said they found on his phone 17 videos of children, between the ages of five and eight, engaged in sexual acts.
Detectives said they were unable to identify any of the children involved.
Boyer, 42, of Ontelaunee Twp., Berks Co., was charged with sexual abuse of children and child pornography.
He remains behind bars in the Frackville Prison, where he's been held since his arrest on the parole violation in March.
