Man will stand trial for killing charter school student

READING, Pa. -

A man accused of killing a student from the I-Lead Charter school in Reading has been ordered to stand trial.

A preliminary hearing was held Thursday for Jose Reyes Diaz.

He is accused of killing 21-year-old Ramon Rosario Evangelista outside the A-Town Cafe near 10th and Elm streets last November.

Reyes Diaz was captured in Rhode Island about a month later.

Two other people were wounded in the shooting.

Man accused of killing charter student heads to trial
