CUMRU TWP., Pa. -

Police in Cumru Township are investigating after a man was carjacked while he was leaving work.

Police say an employee of Supreme Cleaners was approached by a woman while walking to his car behind the building Monday night.

That's in the 1600 block of Lancaster Avenue.

Officials say the woman asked to use the employee's cell phone and then a man with a gun threatened to kill him if he didn't give them the car.

Officials say the man who stole the car later crashed it after a chase in Manheim Township, Lancaster County but then got away on foot.
