BERN TWP., Pa. -

A man is in the hospital after the car he was driving hit a tree and flipped over Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened around 12:20 p.m. on Route 183 in Bern Twp., Berks County, near the Reading Regional Airport.

Police said the car hit a tree, then landed about 75-100 feet away, and the driver was ejected from the car.

There's no word on his identity or his condition.
