Man hit by minivan, rushed to hospital

SAINT LAWRENCE, Pa. -

A man was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a mini-van.

It happened at around 7:30 Tuesday evening in the 2900 block of Saint Lawrence Avenue in Saint Lawrence, Berks Co.

According to initial reports the man was thrown some 20 feet.

His shoes were left at the scene.

There is no word on his condition.
