MOHNTON BOROUGH, Pa. -

The annual Mohnton Memorial Day Parade is a tradition for many, but it was also a first for some.

The parade stepped off on West Wyomissing Avenue and ended at the Mohnsville Cemetery where a memorial ceremony was held.

This was actually the first Memorial Day parade for one spectator from Britain, who calls it a real experience.

"It's tremendous the way the town comes together. Everybody seems to enjoy the day and mark what is an important day for the community," Adrian Conduit said.

The Reading Buccaneers, Governor Mifflin High School Band and several boy and girl scout troops also took part in today's festivities.
