People packed the streets of Reading on Monday for the city's 25th annual Labor Day parade.
Many unions like the Steamfitters walked in the parade and those watching came out for different reasons.
Each group had its own way of honoring those who work.
"I think Labor Day is a good way of showing how people work together and they come together," said Yvette Rios. "And they're recognized for the hard work they do."
Whether people were dancing in the streets, marching in unison, or reminding us what they do, each group took pride in hard work.
"People should think about that we shouldn't be complaining about what other people make or what other people's benefits are, " said Fred Schaeff, President of United Labor Council of Reading and Berks County.
"We all are interconnected through our work and it's important to appreciate the work of everyone that is out there doing the job," said Schaeff.
