Police: Man, 19, slashed twice by knife-wielding assailant
Police are investigating the stabbing of a man in Reading.
It happened Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of Chestnut Street.
Police told us the 19-year-old victim told officers a man approached him from behind, slashed him twice and then ran away.
The victim was taken to the hospital. So far, no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
