Police: Masked man makes off with money from store

CUMRU TWP., Pa. -

A masked man made off with money and cigarettes in the robbery of a convenience store early Wednesday morning, police said.

The holdup happened just before 2 a.m. at the Sunoco A-Plus at 1547 Lancaster Ave. in Cumru Twp., Berks Co.

The robber made off with cash and a carton of cigarettes, police said.

The robber was wearing a gray hood and a black jacket containing a white emblem on the back, police said. He was short with a thin build.

He did not display a weapon.

There were no injuries.
