Some Reading Royals have traded their hockey sticks for drills and paint brushes.
Team members helped at a Habitat for Humanity construction site in the 400 block of Pearl Street in Reading on Tuesday. They said they're happy to be able to give back.
"Habitat for Humanity does a great thing and helps fix up houses, and we're pretty fortunate right now, and everything we can do to help everyone in the community is great, and I think that's why a lot of us volunteered," said Denny Urban, Reading Royals.
Habitat for Humanity helps low income families build and live in their own homes.
